I am a (sometimes) freelance journalist living near the beach in sunny San Diego. I live with a loving very cat-like cat (independent, outdoorsy, fiesty and sweet), a great husband (also independent and outdoorsy and very sweet), and a super-sweet and happy little boy who happens to have autism. My blog name, The Nut Graf, comes from a journalism term meaning the paragraph that sums up the story. I also have a knitting/crafting blog at threadthoughts.wordpress.com.
